That's normal. Nvidia-smi displays GPU utilization based on GPU usage as reported by the NVIDIA drivers. This is often a rather raw number based purely on hardware usage. Task Manager, on the other hand, sometimes takes multiple factors into account (e.g. memory bandwidth, video encoding, 3D graphics load), and can therefore perform a granular calculation that may be higher.
Please pay attention to what you have set for your refresh rate. I recommend "instant" for the fastest result. (If the PC's performance allows it). But keep in mind that the smaller the value, the worse the performance
Please also pay attention to what you have set for your refresh rate. I recommend "Total" to display everything in three categories.
However, the values should not differ too much from the task manager values. A deviation of up to 20 plus minus is acceptable. If the value of the plugin is, for example, 20% and the value of the task manager is 50%, something is wrong, in this case it is 10% above the tolerance.
The values should be accurate to a tolerance of 10 degrees. Please also pay attention to what you have set for your refresh rate.
If you are not able to see any information on the key, please make sure the "Title" field at the top of the action settings is empty. If you type something in this box, it will overwrite all the information the plugin is trying to show.
The plugin has not yet been tested with an AMD graphics card. But it should display these values from version 0.3.1.1 and higher. If you have the text field empty even though you have the current version of GPU-Viewer and Streamdeck and you are using an AMD graphics card, please contact me. () I'm looking for testers who are willing to help me develop the plugin for AMD graphics cards.
